Jessica goes sailing. Crossing Puget Sound to the Olympic peninsula via ferry (surprisingly cheap).
Deception Pass, San Juan Islands (Washington coastline). I got really lucky with the weather up here - a decent amount of sun, and several days with no rain.
A friendly black-tailed deer, which I don't think I'd ever even heard of until I got to Olympic Park.

My Cascades shelter. Sleeping in a hammock is great, esp. when listening to running water nearby.
