So I spent a day wandering around Vancouver after leaving Squeah. I got really good advice from a Squeah guy on where to go and what to see, which helped so much. I used public transport to get downtown and rented a bicycle to see some of the shorefront city parks and other areas. Above is a steam-powered clock. Yeah I'd never heard of such a thing either.
Stanley park beach. The bicycle trail between the cliffs and the beach was one-way (of course, against the way I was planning to go) for several miles. Very confusing at first.
Uber-legit Japanese noodle house for lunch. Soooo good... and cheap.
Harbor sights.
Sounds like a happy place.
