I stopped by Carlsbad Caverns Park in southeast New Mexico. It was every bit as amazing as my friend Mike had suggested - the part that I got to see was one huge open cave room with various chambers. An elevator dropped you down over 600 feet underground from the visitor's center building in frighteningly little time.
